Greetings! Welcome to the Nu Omicron Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated! Our chapter's journey began in the vibrant heart of Frederick, Maryland, on April 23, 2022. Since then, our loving embrace has reached far and wide, impacting the lives of individuals in Frederick County and Western Maryland.
About
Our mission is to collaborate with various organizations to enhance the quality of life in Frederick County and the surrounding communities. We are a chapter that believes in public service, leadership development, and devotion to our youth's education. We are a group of women who serve in various roles within the community and work with local organizations to provide a nurturing culture to the community.
Our Purpose: Nu Omicron Sigma aims to enhance the Frederick community's quality of life through service, scholarship, leadership, and Sisterhood. The scholarship is exemplified in our educational programs; Service is expressed through our civil and social action, charitable donations, and cultural endeavors; and Sisterhood through respecting our sisters' dignity, contributions, and worth.
We believe in the power of unity and service to create positive change in the lives of women and girls.

Sisterhood
We started as a small group of friends who wanted to make a difference in our community. Over time, our passion and dedication grew, and we became a recognized volunteer organization. Today, we work with hundreds of volunteers and community partners to create a better future for all.
Scholarship
Our work is guided by a set of core values, including compassion, integrity, and collaboration. We believe that by upholding these values, we can create meaningful and sustainable change in our community.
Service
Through our programs and initiatives, we have been able to make a positive impact in the lives of many. From supporting local businesses to providing basic necessities to those in need, we are proud of our achievements and the impact we have made.
